Card Access

Overview

Your PC Card is your key to access on campus!

Providence College’s access system is in place to allow access to facilities on campus without having a separate key for each door, while also maintaining safety by prohibiting access to unauthorized individuals. Many spaces on campus have locks that allow the user to swipe or tap their PC Card to access the space.

Card access is coordinated through the Card Office, in collaboration with various Providence College departments. While some access is automatic, other access requires department approval, programming, and for some spaces, encoding of the PC Card.
